Orthognathic Surgery
Orthognathic, or corrective jaw surgery, is used to treat Malocclusion issues, TMJ disorders, dental bite problems, and Craniofacial Microsomia (Hemifacial Microsomia).
To prepare for Orthognathic (jaw) surgery, Dr. Kumar uses Virtual Surgical Planning techniques to accurately plan for surgery. This data utilizes customized 3D printed surgical tools and guides to provide a precise surgical simulation, thus giving the patient a better understanding of the procedure.
Secondary Orthognathic procedures include:
Genioplasty - cosmetic procedure to reshape the chin to give an overall harmonious appearance
Septoplasty - reconstructive procedure to correct the internal cartilage and bone of nose
